I am not really ready for the upcoming exams. I am not very prepared for them and they are coming up quick. I have an exam in all my classes except study halls and extra classes like art and music. I think that either the history or English exam will be the hardest. I am not very good with memorizing things so the vocabulary on the English exam is going to be hard in that way. Also i am not very good at writing papers and essays. This is the other section of the English exam so that is also going to be difficult. The history exam will be hard because you have to know a lot of things and remember dates and things that happened and i am not good at that so that is going to hurt me as well.

To Do:
1) make study guides for all the exams
2) find old quizzes and tests that cover what is going to be on the exams
3) make tests or quizzes that cover the material on the exam
4) make a "cheat sheet" for the English exam
5) study for the exams

When i was about 8 or 9 years old, i started having horrible pains in my stomach. For about a week know one knew what these pains were. Then one day, i was sitting on my couch moaning and my mom walked in to check where the pain was and i said right below my belly button and she sprung into action! About 10 minutes later me and her were in the car riding to the emergency room because she knew that something was wrong. When we got there the people took me and put me in an x-ray machine where my best friends dad found what was wrong. I had a appendicitis and my large intestine had almost devoured my smaller one. Once the doctors found out about this, they found the closest room and set up for me to have surgery ASAP. About 2 hours after i had arrived at the hospital, i was laying on an operation table in a freezing cold room being put to sleep so that i could be operated on.
When i woke up about 6 or 7 hours later, i had the worst pain i have ever felt in my stomach. I was unable to talk and was just pushed around on a long stretcher. The doctors and my parents wheeled me to my room where i stayed for about 5 days. I slept about 10 minutes that night because the nurses were frequently coming in and taking my blood and checking up on me. I don't know how i did sleep because the pain in my stomach was so bad. On the second day, i was not able to even walk or move because of the pain. I stayed on my back this whole time because if i rolled over then the IVs could come out of me and it was horrible getting them back in. On about the third day, i was able to walk down the hallway with a walker. It was VERY painful though. Finally when i got out of the hospital, i stayed out of school for about another week. The pain still stayed for that week but getting back to school and seeing my friends made it go away because that 2 weeks of my life was SO lonely.

I don't have a real role model. Right now in this time period there are not many good role models to choose from! I just don't like the feeling of having to live like someone else and look up to them. I like to be able to be free and loose because it makes me feel like i can go where ever i want with my life! Having a role model would make me have to live like someone else and i don't want that. It makes me feel constricted and regulated to look up to someone because in my definition a role model is someone who looks up to someone and follows behind in there life.

A role model is very hard to explain. It is someone who has made smart decisions or gone good with there life and people look up to that. Some role models could be celebrity's, models, or even a parents. A role model doesn't have to be someone with a lot of money or fame but someone who that has made a smart decisions. Something that makes someone a non-role model is if they have made bad decisions in there life. Some celebrity non-role models are people like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Nichole Ritchie. Those celebritys are not good role models because in their life, they have made a lot of wrong decisions and are not responsible for anything besides keeping themselves alive. They only worry about themselves and did not make good decisions as a child so they could grow up smart and have a good life.

This year has been full of drama and confusion. People have started to change and have become really really really sensitive. Most of the classes have been really hard to understand! People have DRAGGED me into the drama and i am worn out from it. Also, there has been A LOT more projects this year and the teachers aren't giving us any slack on homework while we have the projects. This is very frustrating!!! Not many things have been god this year beside friends being fun. There was nothing fun about school and i will be relieved to be done with this year because it has been a pain.

I have meet one person but i havent gotten to know her so that was not that exciting. I didnt really enjoy any one class unless someone was being funny that day. There hasnt been anything very interesting or cool i have learned this year. I never even thought of myself as a senior of middle school so i dont know. I havent learned much about myself besides A.D.D kicks in to much. The teachers and classes have been the toughest this year. This year the classes were a lot harder and way more confusing this year. The drama sucked this year and there was WAY to much of it. I am ready to get in High School because we are going to be more free and loose. The only thing i am NOT looking foward to is some teachers.

Today, in 2003 she US made a new version on the $20 bill. This is important in history because this is the new kind of money that the USA will be using for a while and it is important to know when new things like this comes out. This new version still had Andrew Jackson on the front of it but it did not have the old circle around it. This interest me because i like to know the new kind of money and designs for money because i like to see how they are going to improve the money and made it less counterfitable.

On my birthday, September 18, hurricane Isabel came through North Carolina. This hurricane came through in 2003 though. This effected me a lot because this hurricane came right over where i live and ruined my birthday. Also the great rock musician Jimmy Hendrix died of drug overdose at age 27 in 1970. Some people that have the same birthday as me are the rapper Xzibit, the basketball coach Rick Pitino, and a guy off the sopranos. These things are interesting to me because i did not know these things happened on my birthday and it is interesting.

This article is about how humans have evolved so well. It says that animals have evolved some and that some are good learners but it says it could be bad for the animals if they were to smart. It says that even some micro-organisms are smart and they can learn somewhat. This article is also saying that you can evolve without the nervous system but it is difficult. Some scienctist actually take flies and make them so that they can learn better and easier. This takes up to 15 generations to do though because it is such a difficult process. The doctors say though that the flies live a 15% shorter life than the regular ones.

I dont really like the article that much. It was very confusing and i didnt understand much of it. I thought that it was about how animals arent as smart as humans and explaining why. This does not make me feel any smarter because i have known that animals are dumb my whole life. In school, i preform ok and it does not make me feel any better until i would be able to compare myself in school with them.

I am not surprised by this result. A lot of people have told me that I am a learner that learns better listening and seeing stuff because then i can take the time to visualize what they are saying and it gives me a picture in my head. Usually in school, i do better being able to listen to something or to have something that is hands on. Like last year in Dr. K's class there was a lot of hands on stuff and i excelled because of that. If i were to be able to watch a movie or see someone act out a scene then i would be able to understand what has happened there. In high school, i think being able to actually see stuff and experience what i am trying to learn about would help. Things like field trips help me a lot if we are able to go and see where that thing happened or be able to see a reenactment of something.

This article was telling about how there is going to be a Dicken's Theme Park. They say that they are hoping to bring in over 400,000 tourist a year. In the park, there is going to be a Magwitch inspired boat ride that takes you around and tries to recreate the boat ride. This theme park is going to be in Kent. They say that this park is going to be awesome and decked out to the most realistic things possible. I think that this theme park is a good idea because it might help people to understand Dickens more and understand what he was trying to say in his books. I also like the idea of that boat ride because it will put this scene in a different perspective for some people.

I think that this theme park would be interesting. I like the kind of parks that are more thrilling. This theme park is one that shows you stuff. I would like to go on that boat ride thing because i want to see how that is. Some of the other attractions are interesting. I think that this park would be a good way to get a better feel for the book and the movie.

In the article about surnames, it is saying that there has been a huge increase in hispanics coming into America and that there names have been moving from the 20s and 30s to the top 10. This hasn't suprised the demographers. Demographers are the man and women who do these searches and polls. It is also saying that there is a increase in postion for the name lee because that is a very common name in Asia and China and they have also been migrating over to the United States. I am not very suprised about this poll and how the hispanic and Asian names have increase over the past few years due to imigration. I don't think that this is a bad thing but i don't like how imigrants names are being put at the top of the list. This is saying to me that there are to many imigrants coming into the US and that we need to do something about it.

When i researched my last name in the data base i did get it in there. Britt, my last name, was ranked at 1,059, which is a lot lower than i thought it would have been at. Since 1990, Britt has gone down 181 places. I had know clue about any of these things for my name. I was very suprised to find that my last name was so low in the standings because i have heard my last name a lot. I am not that suprised that it has gone down a lot because there have been a lot more different names to come to the united states.

My family is from a lot of different countries but i don't know them. My mom's maiden name is Sharon. I do know that i have a relative that is 110 going on 111. I don't know a lot of history about my family, and i do think that i did have a great grandfather that fought in the World War II. There isn't really much to say about my family. We had some people that fought in wars and some really old relatives but that is it......

I can't wait for Christmas break. I am going to my grandparents house in Wayne county for Christmas day. I am also going to try and hunt as much as i can and bring in some good deer meat for Christmas day. Usually we have our Christmas party at either my house or my grandparents house. I love the Christmas break because I can get my energy back and relax. I am also hoping that my friend will take me to the eastern shore in Virginia because there is a lot of duck and deer up there to hunt.
One of the biggest things that i want is an itouch. I want this because my old ipod "fell" out of my pocket and the screen cracked. Now i have to use my dads and i want my own. Something else that i want is some hand wind breakers for my four wheeler. When I ride my four wheeler at night, my hands get really cold and i hate it. One other thing that i want is a gun holder for my four wheeler. This way when i go hunting, i can keep my gun instead of having to strap it to the four wheeler. The last thing i want for my four wheeler is a twist throttle. When i am riding a long distance, my thumb gets tired so. If i have this then i will not have to use my thumb, i will have to use my whole hand. I am also going to be giving to other people to. I don't know what i am going to be giving because i haven't got it.

The story was about a mother named Lori Drew that wanted to know about what Megan Meier's opinion on her daughter that lived 4 houses down from her. She created a myspace page that was a fake one. It was registered under a Josh Evens which Megan though was a real person. They talked in a flirty way for about a year and then one day "Josh" started saying horrible things to Megan. Megan got so upset that she ran into her closet and hung herself with a belt. Ms. Drew felt horrible about what she had done. When the police found out they could not do anything about it because there was no sentence for harassing someone over the computer. Then the Drews asked the Meier's to store a Foosball table and the Meier's agreed. There was so much fury in the Meier's that they took a sledge hammer and started hitting the table. Then they took that parts and threw them in the Drew's driveway. The reason that Lori wanted to know what Megan though about her daughter was because the daughters had recently stopped being friends because Megan moved to another school. Megan stopped being teased about her wait, lost 20 pounds, and joined the cheer leading team.
I think that the story is really bad. I think there should be a law against cruel harassment. If something like this happens, the court should be able to think of a consequence and use that against them. I also think that the court should also be more ready for this kind of thing because it happens a lot and there should be something done about it. Lori Drew should be put in jail because of verbal harassment. The police should have been able to arrest Ms Drew because this is something cruel and should not be able to do this.

I agree with Daniel. There is not a lot of good books these days, and the ones that are o.k. are like 50 years old. I think that there should be more young authors because they know what we like to read. Most of the books adult authors write are not good because they don't know what to right. The reason i don't like to read a lot is because all the books are no good. Some of the books are good but those are for girls only. There are no good boy books out there because the ones that are written are by adults and they don't know what they are doing.
If i were to write a big series of books for boys, i would write about a huge storm that destroyed or a time that i went and shot a big deer or something that would get his attention. I would also write about something that was a really funny thing, not some chezzy joke that i told in 1st grade. Boys like stuff that Jeff Foxworthy, Ron tater salad white, of Larry that cable guy says because that is crude and that is what makes boys laugh. If that was what they wrote now then there would be a lot more guys reading. The girls i wouldn't really have to worry about because they have all of there gossip and girly books.

I think that romeo and Juliet is very bizarre story. If they were like 40 or 50 and they have been married for a long time then it would be more appropriate because they would have been long time lovers instead of lovers that have been married for a couple of days. I think that there actions are a little drastic. I don't think that it was worth it. I don't really think that they love each other but the reason that they are "in love" is because they want to go against there parents and make them mad out of instinct. They killed themselves because they wanted to die beside each other so they will go to heaven together.

Teenagers are very impulsive. My parents usually say that teenagers don't think before they talk. That is a example of being impulsive. Teenagers are very impulsive. They usually do things without thinking about what the consequences could be and the fact that they could hurt sombody. I do think that teenagers are very impulsive because there minds haven't developed and they don't think or care about what could happen. There are some teenagers that are usually judged by the way they look as a bad person. Most of the time they are pretty good but some really can be a danger. I think that for the most part, teens are usually concidered unstable. A time when i acted on an impulse is sometimes my parents will say something that i don't want to do in a row and then they will say something that i would want to do, and i would automaticly say no becuase i was saying no for the ones before and then that one came up and my reaction was to say no.

Something I like to do is blogging at school. I am in creative communication for an extra English class and we get to write about a good topic(most of the time), and it passes time really quickly. Sometimes, I need to go to creative communication and let some time go by sometimes because it has been a long day. It is actually fun to get in here and write with all the other non-foreign class friends.
One of the best things about writing is that you can tell about yourself in a good or bad experience in the past that you liked of wanted someone to know about. You can write about whatever you want when you write because it is your writing. One other thing that is good about writing is that the writer can write about the mood he is in. Those are some of the great things about writing. That is my opinion on reading and writing and why some is good and some is bad.
Blogging is going to blogger.com and typing about a topic and then you publish the writing on your own blog page and letting all the people that log onto the page and reading it. They can leave comments about the article.

Manual on Football

I like to play football. I might not be the best at it but i love to play it. There are many complex rules to playing football. When you get points on the scoreboard you either score a touchdown, get a 2 point conversion, get an extra point kick, or get an safety. You can also get a penalty that will get the ball taken back. If you have a tape then you can challenge the play and the referees can review the play to see if they made a right or wrong call. There are many levels or football. You can be in JV, Varsity, College, or the Pros. You can also play in either 8 or 11 man football. In 8 man football(which i play) there is a center, right and left guard, right or left tight end, a quarterback, a fullback, and a halfback. On defense, there is a right and left tackle, a right and left defensive end, a right and left corner, and a right and left linebacker.

When you get a toucdown, you cross the goal line and get 6 points on the board. After you get the touchdown, you have the chance between a 2 point conversion, or an extra point kick. If you go for the 2 point conversion, then you run a play instead of kicking it, or you can do a fake kick and run it in. If you are going to go for the extra point, the you just get 1 point and you kick the football into the fieldgoal. If you get a saftey then you tackle the opposing team in there endzone. Then you get 2 points and they punt it to you and you return it. If you are going to pass the ball on offense, then only 2 guys can go out for a pass. The full back or the half back can run the ball. The quarterback can also run the ball. The line of scrimmage is where the ball is when the last player with the ball was tackled. If you go and jump the line of scrimmage before the ball is snaped, then that is offsides and a penalty. There are many rules that i am not going to get into because it would be hours before i was done.

My favorite genre is comedy. I love a funny book. If there is a funny book then it will keep my attention and makes me laugh sometimes, if it is funny. There is not a lot of good comedy books but when you find a good one then i could read it in a day. when i get into a good book i can read it really quick, but if i get into a really boring book then i will stop reading because it is so boring and it loses my attention.
Something i also like to do is blog at school. I am in creative communication for an extra English class and we get on our blog and write in class. My parents are the most important to me. My dog is also very important to me. My parents are important to me because they give me shelter and feed me every day. They help me with anything that i need help with and are fun to hang around with. My dad goes and takes me hunting and throws the football with me all the time. My mom usually helps me with any help i need in school or anywhere else. If it were not for them then i would be a hobo. My dog is also one of the best things i have got in my life. he is a Boykin spaniel and he is the best dog in the world. he is fun to play with and he will never miss a chance to go outside and chase after a tennis ball. He also loves to just run around and play with my family.

I think that there are many things that are important to me in life. I think that the trip to Greece and France taught me how to eat better and live better. i also think that my boat is very important to me because it inspired me to become a captain for a yacht. I am hoping that i will get my captains license when i turn 18. I am also very thankfull for my friends. They help me get through good and bad times when i need it the most.

If i were to have a day when i had no rules i don't know what i would do. I would go and get a bunch of high powered guns and a brand new trunk and go joyridin out on a farm. then would go to a big open field and shoot the guns that i stole. once i did that for a while then i would go and eat at my favorite place, 33 grill. Once i left there i would go and get a nice Corvette and speed down to the beach. I would go to a big boat dealer and take a boat. Then i would get some nice trolling rods and go deep sea fishing.
Once i got done fishing i would go and find the nearest airport and fly back. When i got back i would go and steel some money and go to the bank. then i would go and take my Corvette and ride to the Ferrari dealership and take a nice Ferrari. Once i was done with that i would go and have dinner. Then i would go and fine a mansion and trash it. HAHA. Then i would take the Ferrari and run from the law for some fun. Then it would be 12 o'clock and the day would be over. :( That is what i would do with all the money in the world and no laws. That would me awsome.

There is a lot of things that make me laugh. There are also some things that are so stupid that i just have to laugh. Samuel and Thomas make me laugh a lot during school and most of the time i start crying i am laughing so hard. When i don't have then around during the summer i have Sammy Anderson. He is one of the funniest people i know. i go down to bath n.c. with him and his family. i go with me parents of course because we love it down there. Some of the boy humor that Samuel and Thomas do is so funny. some times i just start laughing for no reason but i can't stop.

Something that was hilarious that happened today was in p.e. we were playing football and colt was messing around and mooning everyone and he was trying to do it to me but i moved away and he mooned coach Allen and he got mad. He made colt sit down and said i thought i have seen everything in the world except the tajmahal and now i have seen colt brakes rear end. He said he needs to keep it away. I thought that was so funny. He is like the funniest 65 year old man i know.

When i am assigned a reading assignment i am sad. Reading a book just does not interest me at all. some books can kind of interest me but most don't at all. I like mostly action and suspense books. They make me want to read the next chapter. I don't like long books either. They will start good and then they fade away. By the time they get good again i have already got mad at the book and thrown it as the wall or burn it. I can not take long book. Some short stories are good. The only reason that they are ok is because they are short and if i don't like them then they are over really quick and i don't have to have anything to do with them any more.
If you were to give us a reading assignment (I DON'T WANT IT) then i would like for you to give us a long time to read it. Then you could split it up into little pieces so we don't have to stay up till 11:00 trying to read the assignment that you gave us. If we had a little bit at a time then we would not have to read as much and be as tired the next day. You could also give us a class and all we do is read so you could also give us reading homework and we would get like 2 days of of homework done in one day. That would make the book go by alot faster. I don't want reading assignments but if you were to give me one then this is what it would be.

There are a lot of things that make me mad. one big thing that makes me mad is if a computer is messing up or freezes. I get really MAD because it is really aggravating. Then i will just leave or turn it off. I really hate when someone will keep going on and on about something that is already anoying and they know it but they keep going just to anoy you.

When i get really mad something that helps me to releve my stress is to go and play football because you can have some head on contact with someone and you can talk trash to get some stress off your chest. Also if i get really mad i can go hunting and shoot something to let some stress go.

When i get a free pass at home i usally play some playstaion or watch t.v. I really don't have any specific show but i love to just flip around and look for somethng good to watch. If there is nothing good on i might go play some basketball or get on the computer. If i play PS2 then i usally play guitar hero II or college football 2006. I love them both. When it is 3:00pm i go to one of my friends house and play with him. He just moved into the house next to his old house. It is a cool house and it is nice to. Then around 5:00 or 6:00 and sometimes 7:00 i go home and eat dinner. The around 10:00 or 11:00 i go to bed because i am really tired after a long doy of chillin.
